Here is the E-Newsletter with the news items on the Keystone Transit Career Ladder Partnership initiative:
- Statewide: The statewide project director for the Keystone Transit Career Ladder Partnership, Dr. Robert G. Garraty, has accepted a full-time position as Executive Director of the Southcentral Pennsylvania Workforce Investment Board (WIB). This is the largest WIB in the state in regards to civilian labor force and consists of 8 rural/urban counties. He starts his new position on July 26, 2004 and is working with all Keystone partners to ensure a smooth transition.
- Statewide: All keystone partners and vendors are reminded that, as spelled out in all Memorandums of Agreement, the agreements ended June 30, 2004 and all invoices for all activity last fiscal year must be submitted to the project director by July 15, 2004.
- Statewide: Now that the Pennsylvania state legislature has finished its budget work, the proposal for next year can be forwarded PA Department of Labor & Industry officials. PA AFL-CIO President Bill George plans to forward the proposal next week. Department officials have informed Keystone representatives that they will be funding the 2004 fiscal year Keystone Partnership at the same funding level as fiscal year 2003.
